Last week I had the pleasure of attending the annual Revelation Conference created by Agape International Spiritual Center located in Los Angeles, CA. To say the least it was awesome, uplifting, exciting, educational, and just wonderful. I really feel like I need to create some new words to describe my experience.
The headlining key note speakers were Maladoma Some and Ester and Jerry Hicks with their compadres called Abraham. I have read the books by Maladoma and the Hicks, but the whole "in person" phenomenon leaves you speechless.
I want to attend all the Revelation Conferences in the future. I learned a lot about myself. I know what to do with my thoughts and how to snap out of listening to "negative" thoughts. The lessons for me were about keeping focused on what you want, NOT on what you don't want. OR on the lack of what you want.
WOW!, I realized I have been so focused on my plans and goals I forgot to live in the present. That single revelation for me is hugh. I had forgotten the importance of how to love where I am, how I am, who I am right now. But I'm back. All is Well.
A blog to share, challenge, support growth and development in all areas of life.

5 Things to Consider When Moving to the Next Phase of Life
The
next phase of your life can be like a new frontier. It’s exciting and scary at
the same time. Not knowing what is ahead and what it may entail, can give you
pause. But, the allure of doing something different and doing new things can be
very enticing. Stepping into the
proverbial “un-comfort zone” is no joke.
When
a situation changes your life and you know you can’t or choose not to live the
same way any longer there is hope on the horizon. Doing the same thing, being with the same
people, going to the same places, putting up with the same “stuff” just doesn’t
seem to be enough any longer.
It's time for a change!
It's time for a change!
Now,
there are some situations that come along to push you to even consider the fact
that it’s time for a change. The last child has left the house so you
got more time on your hands than you knew possible. It could be that the
marriage ended. Then there’s the job you’ve had for years and now it’s gone bye-bye.
Ultimately, you get a feeling in your gut. You want fulfillment. Old
dreams begin to surface, reminding you of things you had suppressed or forgotten
and let slip down deep. Surprise! They
never went away. They’re coming up to be considered again.
How do I get started with this change?
2. Ask yourself empowering questions. Empowering questions lead to resolutions and solutions. They empower you. Questions that begin with who, what, how. For example; what am I to learn from this situation? Who can I talk to that will give good guidance? Where can I get valuable support? Stay away from the “why” questions. They tend to lead you down a path of self-pity and they can disempower you.
3. Take Responsibility for your life. Here lies your power. Don’t beat yourself or anyone else up. Take care of yourself. See this time in your life as a blessing. Don’t give up.
4. Pay attention to everything going on in your life. Observe the old and new situations and the people that you are around. There are opportunities opening up for you and you want to be ready.
5. Take ‘guided’ action. You’re not a pot so no ‘stewing’ for you. Don’t do it alone! This is so important. If it is a pattern of yours to “do it all on your own,” let that go. There may be many ideas, beliefs, behaviors, and ‘yes,’ people you’re going to have to let go of to move into the next phase and not end up in the same spot. Ask for support, join a mastermind group of like-minded people, or get a coach, probably not friends or family.
Embrace
this ‘new frontier’ of possibilities. This is your time. You deserve to be
happy and feel free. You are powerful. Congratulations!

Daily Intentions for creating your life
Yes, this is a reprint of an earlier post. I thought it was so important.
Setting my intention at the beginning of each day is a practice I have fully embraced over the past few years. I have noticed that my day unfolds as I desire. The setting of intention actually, sets my mind in a receptive and releasing state. In other words it keeps my mind in ‘right’ thinking. It allows me to relax and let a higher consciousness guide my actions and the outcomes of my day.
As the consistency improves, a better understanding of the process grows and life unfolds as you desire. Books by Ester and Jerry Hicks, guidance by my spiritual mentor Rev. Deena Jones of Atlanta, GA and the article on Intention vs Intent by Rev. Deborah Johnson of Inner Light Ministries in Santa Cruz, CA have assisted me in gaining more insight for my growth.
I have been surprised at times that the outcome of encounters in certain situations have been amiable. In the days I didn't consistently or clearly set intentions, those same situations would have ended in anger or blame and the whole conversation would have been strained.
In Ester and Jerry Hicks books on abundance, it is suggested that you consciously set intentions throughout the day for specific situations to give strength to the desired unfoldment. That is something I am working into my day, though I must admit I forget sometimes. This is another aspect of my practice I want to include.
Many years ago Rev. Deena suggested that the correct thinking is to set your intentions and thank God for the great day you "had." Then get out of bed, knowing that they (intentions) have already happened and all you have to do is peacefully and happily walk through your day.
Rev. Deborah in the piece she wrote suggests that there is an important distinction between intent and intention. She states, “Intention carries more of a sense of action…. .” Her description of the difference between intent and intention opens up yet a another level of awareness on the practice of intention. An intention is not only something I should set each day, but use the process for setting goals and reaching my dreams. The piece also states that setting intentions is not just a process for the unfoldment of your day, but an even greater spiritual unfoldment of your life and that guided action is the key to the distinction.
My intention is to include the new knowledge acquired into my “intention setting” practices and watch my life unfold in new and wonderful ways.

Visioning for Life - A Perfect Idea
There is something within each of us that knows.
This Divine Intelligence has an idea, a pattern designed just for your life. It
is as specific as the individualized expression that you are. It enfolds in Love. This unique pattern or life path is in your
consciousness. Think about seeing and feeling this wonderful revelation of life
and actually living it day by day. This is not something you have to wait until
you reach a certain age, experience hurt or pain, or go into the light. This life of good is at hand right here,
right now.
What are the benefits of visioning: You gain a deeper spiritual wisdom within. You live in the flow of life and not fight against the tide. You can live your authentic self. The business or project you vision will be in alignment with your life journey and purpose leading to real success and continued development in ways you didn’t imagine.

Let’s understand visioning, but first it may be
beneficial to understand what it is not. So many of us engage in
visualizations and find them to be quite enlightening to what our thoughts are
and our dream state. However, visioning is not the same as visualization. Visualizations
are images that are set up for you to contemplate and use to direct certain
action. The images are created by you or the person conducting the visualization,
often referred to as “Guided Visualization.”
Visualizations are used in spiritual practices as well as many
industries to develop products and services. In visualization you use your
imagination. The key word here is “your
imagination.” According to Wikipedia,
“Creative visualization is the technique of using one's imagination to
visualize specific behaviors or events occurring in one's life."
It is not a “vision statement.” Again a vision
statement and other processes set up by business concerns to direct strategies
and development are actually using imagination to direct and for the interest
of this article is not the same thing.
The Visioning Process (for life) is defined by Rev.
Dr. Michael Beckwith, by declaring, “Visioning is a process by which we train
ourselves to be able to hear feel, see, and catch God’s plan for our life or
for any particular project we’re working on… .” He goes on to say “it is based on the idea
that we’re not here to tell God what to do or to ask God for things but to
absolutely be available for what God is already doing, to open ourselves up to catch
what’s already happening.“ The visioning process is placing yourself in a
receptive posture allowing the vision to come through your consciousness and
seeing, feeling, hearing, smelling, the life meant for you to live.
It is a process that is ongoing and with this
practice you get better and better at it. By asking a series of questions as
you place yourself in a quiet, receptive, loving space you will begin to
“capture” the vision. Begin to see the plan that has been laid out for your
best life now.

Remember, there is something inside of you that
knows and is seeking to emerge. The Life Visioning process as developed by Rev.
Dr. Beckwith can be done successfully individually or in groups. It is done in
person , via phone or web. I have known
church groups, businesses, friends and families to engage in this process for
success and happiness.

The Vision-Mastermind Process
‘Visioning for Your Life’ was created by Rev. Michael B. Beckwith.
This process as I understand it at this time begins with the premise that we
are from and of Spirit. Whatever you may call this One Spirit that is in and
through all; we are formed from the same “stuff.” This Giving Spirit thought of
an Idea with Love for Good and Health and Well Being. This Idea, which is you
and me, has a gift to give the world and when we give this gift - our talent, passion,
and/or calling, - we live the life intended. As we grow up we forget this
passion because of the thinking and influence of other people, who shall remain
unnamed at this point.

This is a program of take One Night Off A Week, aka tONOAW.
Spirit’s Vision for our life is within, it didn’t go
anywhere, just got buried. The visioning
process assists us in seeing, remembering and reconnecting with our ideal life
purpose. It happens by being silent, opening up, releasing, and letting the
resistance go. By placing yourself in an
environment of love, over time you begin to “capture” the
vision. It comes in snippets of words, sounds, smells, phrases, colors, in all
creative manner until it is seen in a way you understand.
Masterminding is a process of moving to the life you envision.
In general a mastermind group is when people meet who have the same specific
interest. From CEOs interested in improving their company to new moms looking
for resources, support in the new role. Each person shares and requests
specific things they may need to grow and know in the area. The other members of the group are dedicated
to the success of all members. They
offer insight, information, resources, and more. There is accountability as the
members gain focus, clarity and support to be and do the best they can in the
area of interest.
I have combined these two processes as it seems like a beautiful
marriage between the two. Capture the vision and “work it” through the
mastermind process. Don’t do it alone!
The groups meet either in person, by phone conference or web
conferencing. Modern technology is a wonderful “thang. “
Contact me for details and web links for our next meeting.

No More Resolutions - Only Intentions
Are you one of the
millions of people who make well-intentioned resolutions each year and struggle
with keeping them? Resolutions are notorious for failing. Why? Do you make
resolutions as a habit or as a passing fancy or are you really serious? These
are questions to ask yourself. Do you make them year after year without much
"long-lasting" success, but determined, "to make them work this
year?" Don't blame yourself. That doesn't help.
Consider making a shift in your thinking and approach which can bring you the desired success. You may benefit from setting an "intention" for the year. What do you want your life to look like? Who and what do you want in your life that will move you toward your dream? It's not about weight or smoking there is a bigger picture.
Setting intentions is not just a process for the unfolding of a specific desire, but an even greater spiritual unfolding of your life. Intentions require guided action and that is the key to the distinction. They encourage a full mindful participation in your life.
For example, instead of wishing to lose weight or quit smoking, which are common, but not the only wishes, set an intention to show yourself more love, to improve your health, to have fun with everything you do and of course take one night off a week.
The setting of intention actually sets your mind in a receptive and releasing condition. In other words, it keeps your mind in 'right' thinking.
To increase your chances for success make a plan:
1. Deicide on what you want and imagine what looks and feels like,
2. While imagining add some colors, sounds, and smells to the vision,
3. Determine the steps you need to take for each intention,
4. Solicit support from friends or colleagues, but be very specific about how they can help,
5. Don't talk to just anyone about them, be mindful with whom you share your intentions, and
6. Finally, add a big dose of joy, expectation and know that you will be successful.
Yes, this is more than a resolution, you shift your thinking, your actions and improve your life because you deserve your best life now and you can create it.
Relax and watch your life unfold in wonderful ways. Your decision making process becomes easier. You will know how to choose the best options based on your stated intentions. You feel better about yourself and that leads to more improvement, enhancement and expansion of your life.

Five PowerFull Women (5PW)
When "Five PowerFull Women" (5PW) get together you're in for wonderful sharing of experiences, insights and just a good time.
Just think of having access, through videos, to women from all over the world who are just like you. Women who have "been through it" and came out on the other side victorious and even better.
Sometimes when we are experiencing one of life's wonderful lessons we think we are the only ones dealing with it and feel alone, or we don't have any personal experience with the situation and not sure what to do?
5PW get together and discuss many relevant issue that have a real impact on our lives. The group discuss just one pertinent question at a time for about 45 minutes. Women from all over the world will view the video and there will be something said that will motivate, inspire, move you forward in your life.
I know you know 4 other women like yourself. That makes five. I know they are self reflective, mature, insightful, fun, socially oriented, spiritual, successful, loving, and willing to share their life experiences in order to support, challenge and encourage other women. That makes them powerful.
You can host a 5PW in your home or office space.

Goal Getters vs Goal Setters
I just heard one of my mentors say “We are goal getters.” Goal setting is great, but I guess the idea is you don’t want to stop there. Take action and go after it. Actually, it takes some time and thought to “set” goals. You can’t just jump in and put something on paper. And they should be put on paper. First you have to vision what you desire your life to look like professionally, financially, and materially. And be specific about that. To make the dream real you have to not only see it, but more importantly feel it. Actually, that’s what makes the dream yours. After that comes the goal setting. Once it is real and the goals set, now the work to bring it to life begins – the goal “getting.” The dream will keep you going, when the “getting” gets tough, things become a challenge or confusion on what to do next takes a hold of you. When you get tired or want to give up, visioning will give you the energy to continue. Being able to see your life as you want it to be is your motivator, your inspiration, your monitor, your rock. I am a “goal getter” with my home based business. I visioned my dream life, set goals and took action. Get your dream, goal getter http://TendaiJordan.com

The Power in Words
There is power in the words we use. We live in an energetic Universe. So it follows that everything is energy. The energy has a frequency and affects our lives in wonderful or devestating ways. Just misuse electricity what happens? You don't even have to see it or understand it, but the law of electricity works either way, yeah.
The words you use have a frequency and vibration. That means they affect the one who uses them and the one they are directed to. Words that are uplifing have higher vibrations and are "positive." Words that are "ugly" have a lower vibration and one might say they are "negative." AND they attract back to themselces (the user) the energy they put out. Have you noticed that people who are always sick and are forever talking about it - are always sick. Pay attention to people who speak words of success and prosperity - they are prosperous and achievers.
Love is the most powerful word and has the highest vibration in any language. Use it often. Be mindful of the words you use about yourself and other people. Consider high vibrational words like: success, prosperity, great job, desire, I can, you can, opportunities, possibilities, financial freedom. Minimize using words like failure, debt, want, forget and try and can't.
Have you listened to the conversations you have with friends and colleagues? Are the conversations basically, whining, crying, complaining, bemoaning, about being broke, the horrible economy, terrible boss, how hard you work and don’t have life or that your life is just not working? What you talk about you will attract to yourself.
I like to gossip from time to time. I know it is nonsensical and definitely not uplifting for me or anyone else. So I made this commitment with myself. No gossiping! One way to cut that out is spend the time more productively and turn negative conversations and energy into something positive and write a blog. (smile)
For rewarding, successful and happy experiences be mindful of what you say. Talk about what you want in your life and not what you don't want because words have power.
